About The Dance Center
The Dance Center is a professionally run dance studio offering all levels of instruction in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip-Hop & Acrobatics. We have classes for ages ranging from 18-months to Adults. We offer a high quality and well rounded education for all of our students. We would love for you to come and join our dance family!

Miss Christa is the company director and an instructor here at The Dance Center. She is a New Jersey native and a graduate of the University of Arts in Philadelphia, PA where she earned a BFA in Jazz Dance while on scholarship. Miss Christa has studied under the likes of Wayne Saint David, Olga Kostrisky, LaVaughn Robinson, Milton Meyers, and Ronen Koresh. She was a principal dancer with the WAVES Jazz Dance Company under the direction of Shimon Braun, and Ballet South under the direction her mentor, Shaun Doyle. Christa has travelled extensively across the US, Canada, Europe, Asia, and Australia while working for the VEE Corporation production of “Sesame Street Live”.

Miss Victoria is a bubly, energetic hip-hop dance instructor from North Carolina that has a passion for teaching. She has been dancing for 8 years and choreographing for 5 years and is currently enrolled in college at UNCG to further her career as a dance teacher. She has had a strong focus on dance styles like hip-hop, jazz, and weight-sharing. She has been a part of hip hop and weight sharing training camps and worked with weight-sharing choreographer Gaspard. She was the Dance team captain at her high school for 3 years and choreographed the majority of the pieces for performances, ranging from hip hop to contemporary. She is very eager to teach children the importance of teamwork and expression through dance.

Miss Reyanna is an exceptional tap dance instructor with many high scoring awards from tapping competitively. She has been invited to participate in national competitions for her exceptional tap performances. Although she is well-versed in other genres of dance, tap has always been her passion and she is very excited to share this passion with her students.

Miss Cindy is a ballet instructor and the owner of The Dance Center. She performed as a soloist with “The Land of the Sky Civic Ballet” in Asheville, NC in her youth, but her teaching and performing career spans the last four decades. She opened The Dance Center in 2005 to spread her love of dance far and wide. Her former students have various accolades including an Academy Award, a British Academy Film Award, a Screen Actors Guild Award, a Golden Globe Award, held leads in feature films/broadway productions, placed in the top 10 on a popular reality television dance program, danced on collegiate and pro sports team dance squads, as well as being accepted as full time resident students at North Carolina School of the Arts and Julliard.
